My daughter has multiple allergies. She is very allergic to corn, but also wheat, nuts, melon. We were invited to a wedding near Cleveland and I used NEOCN to find possible GF restaurants who had a GF menu and seemed to be knowledgeable of food allergies. I talked to the manager, Chuck, at Sweet Melissas and he was very informative and helpful. We had dinner there and our server, Maeve, was well-informed and helped us choose foods that would ‘work’ for both my daughter and her GF husband. The rest of us enjoyed great menu items, some GF labeled and some not. All the food was wonderful. We wish there was a Melissas in Jax, FL and would to there All The Time. 5 Stars!!!
ps. There is a Cafe Melissa in Avon Lake with a similar menu, drive-thru option, and closer to our wedding site. We ordered take-out there and the kids took their food to the reception. Went back the next day for carry-out lunch for their air travel back to Nashville.
