Bibibop Asian Grill

100% GF Multiple locations

Bibibop is now 100% Gluten-Free

They have multiple locations in the Cleveland area including Pinecrest, Cedar Center, University Circle, Crocker Park, Westgate and Strongsville Town Center. Also locations in Ohio and other states.

Bibibop also has a catering menu.

At the restaurant you build your own bowl with a base of rice, sweet potato noodles, and/or salad. Add your choice of grilled beef, chicken or tofu and a variety of fresh vegetables. Finish with Asian-inspired sauces.

In addition to the online menu items, in the store there was cauliflower rice base and teriyaki mushrooms available for an additional charge.

They celebrate Meatless Mondays with a discount on veggie and tofu bowls.

I enjoyed a veggie filled tofu bowl with teriyaki dressing on a recent Monday. I look forward to returning soon to try something else. So many possibilities!

Checked out Two Cafe and Boutique today and came away with an Americano and a fresh made Organic Egg Scramble with gf toast!

Check out their site for the full menu. You’ll see consideration made for allergens but be advised that this is not a dedicated gluten free establishment. That being said, they were very knowledgeable and considerate to my questions.

They also have available prepackaged baked goods from a dedicated gf kitchen in Chagrin Falls, OH.

About Two Cafe & Boutique

The Two Foundation was started in 2013 to bridge the gap that exists between high school or a sheltered workshop and community employment for individuals with exceptionalities.

The Two Foundation brings awareness to the community about how to celebrate diversity, and how to focus on an individual’s strengths. We believe in full integration of the local workforce.

The starting point is our training center: The Two Café and Boutique. The Two Café and Boutique is more than a local farm – to – fork café and coffee shop, we exist to provide real work experience and employment for individuals with exceptionalities in a fully integrated setting.

The cafe is not only a place you can count on for healthy, and local food. It is a place where you can truly make a difference in the world!

Oh! What a treat for us!Despite the fact that our choices were limited due to all my allergies (seafood -all, celiac plus dairy, it just isn’t worth the bother sometimes to venture out for food cooked by a restaurant.)
But I was so intrigued by – “Singapore street food” and – a local Lakewood business run by – a husband and wife- with lots of “let us know your allergies” notices, and places to list them- black rice pudding- after we placed our carry out order online, a phone call from the wife, asking if they could sub the pork w chicken bc of a gluten uncertainty with a pork ingredient! (we longtime celiacs know that’s a good sign, paying attention)

We got our food. I will order one heat level up next time but it was a great start. It was exciting to try different food.

Dang Good Foods is also on FB. They frequently post a closed sign when they “sell out” of food for the day. Also a good sign.

Mahle’s Restaurant

http://www.mahlesrestaurant.com My husband and I have been taking friends and family to this fine restaurant for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. After the recent pandemic lock-down was lifted, we phoned and made a family reservation for 5 people. They have never had a gluten-free menu; however, for the past 16 years since my celiac disease diagnosis, I have eaten there many times with no problems. Wait staff for this recent visit wore masks and were as helpful as ever – it was a wonderful experience, especially in these difficult times, and we highly recommend this fine establishment. P.S. My favorite meal is prime rib with grilled scampi and baked potato – but I have also had their surf and turf, petite filet steak and lobster.
