Bibibop is now 100% Gluten-Free
They have multiple locations in the Cleveland area including Pinecrest, Cedar Center, University Circle, Crocker Park, Westgate and Strongsville Town Center. Also locations in Ohio and other states.
Bibibop also has a catering menu.
At the restaurant you build your own bowl with a base of rice, sweet potato noodles, and/or salad. Add your choice of grilled beef, chicken or tofu and a variety of fresh vegetables. Finish with Asian-inspired sauces.
In addition to the online menu items, in the store there was cauliflower rice base and teriyaki mushrooms available for an additional charge.
They celebrate Meatless Mondays with a discount on veggie and tofu bowls.
I enjoyed a veggie filled tofu bowl with teriyaki dressing on a recent Monday. I look forward to returning soon to try something else. So many possibilities!
A new location just opened: Avon – French Creek. I was pleasantly surprised to find this location had store baked gluten free chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. I hope other locations also start to make and sell the cookies.
If these restaurants saying gluten -free is anyone making sure that they are cleaning the grill’s and making sure that the utensils are cleaned. I’ve been in restaurants that used other utensils for everything else and never cleaned the grill off. That made me have diarrhea after that. So none is paying attention to us at all.
Janet, according to the signage, the staff and the website for Bibibop the restaurants are completely 100% gluten-free, peanut free, some organics, no antibiotic chicken. Only wholesome natural ingredients. If that is the case there is no cross contamination issue for gluten.
The best that we can know is that Bibibop follows all health guidelines and standard practices for commercial food preparation. The FDA does not oversee these things. Restaurants are monitored by the county health departments.
Strange. Bibibop is 100% gluten free, however every single time I’ve been I 100% end up with diarrhea within 2 hours. Every time.
A new location has opened in Mayfield Heights on SOM across from Eastgate. Fantastic, as always!
Ate at a location in Cincinnati yesterday, did not have any pain but today I do have diarrhea so not really convinced they’re actually free from gluten contamination at this point.
Love this place too!! Beware that some of the chicken is not gluten free (guessing because of the marinade)-they have allergen signs next to each item verifying the gluten status and I noticed that the spicy chicken contained gluten.
According to the Bibibop website and the signs posted in the windows they are now 100% gluten-free.
I’ve been twice more and loved it each time. Such a relief to know it is 100% gluten free. Easy to order on the app. If you want to give the app a try consider using my referral code: DIANE1278
