  1. Came in from Chicago and ate here with my daughter (who has celiac) for the second time. I called and emailed again to make sure it was safe, and they couldn’t have been nicer, more thorough, or more accommodating. Tons of gluten free options, and they’re pizza is even cooked in a separate oven. The food and atmosphere are excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

  2. How confident do you feel about cross-contamination at Astoria? I am talking specifically about their brunch menu and lunch menu?

    1. Only as confident as anywhere else that can present with cross contamination. As always, we must always be our own advocates and ask questions. and

  3. I had a birthday dinner at Astoria this weekend and had the lamb shank dish with mashed potatoes that were to die for. There were several options marked gf on the menu. A flourless chocolate cake fit the bill for dessert. It was all delicious.

  4. Over the past two years I’ve had the opportunity to dine at Astoria about 5 times – each and every time – I am pleased to see that the number of g-f menu items is increasing. This past week, the selections served, among our party of 4 included 3 options that were listed as g-f. Cassoulet, Braised Lamb Shank, and a g-f pizza. Best option of the night though – the Glutenberg g-f Blonde Ale!!
